GOLF R DRAGON

This project features a full anime-inspired livery designed for a Volkswagen Golf R, built around two dragons entirely hand-drawn in a Japanese cartoon style.

The two characters were designed with different color identities, creating a strong contrast and making the composition instantly recognizable on both sides of the car. The artwork is enriched with additional elements such as clouds, waves, and fire, adding motion and energy to the overall design.

I wanted this Golf R to be something more than just a wrap.
I gave Leo complete creative freedom, because I knew he could turn my idea into something powerful.

The concept had to feel like an anime story: two dragons, opposite energies, fighting and balancing each other — with clouds, waves and fire around them.

For me, this livery represents intensity, transformation, and the will to keep moving forward, no matter what.

EDOARDO

The front area was kept clean and functional due to the carbon hood. I focused on filling the available surfaces with coherent graphic details, keeping the style consistent without overloading the front end.

The opposite side showcases the second dragon, with a different color identity to create contrast and balance across the full wrap. Fire and wave elements reinforce the anime-inspired storytelling and make the design instantly recognizable.

Left Side

This side features the first dragon, designed with a strong and aggressive attitude. The composition is built to flow naturally along the car’s lines, supported by clouds and ornamental elements to create movement and depth.

The rear section includes Japanese lettering inspired by Edoardo’s tattoos, adding a personal touch and reinforcing the connection between the car and its owner’s identity.
